Some stories are best told through moving images. Our Film & Documentation programme preserves Kashmiri heritage through film, photography and visual storytelling — capturing the people, places and practices that define our culture.
We produce documentaries and visual records of traditional crafts, festivals, landscapes and community life. These films document living heritage in a form that can be shared widely, preserved permanently, and used to educate and inspire.
The programme also nurtures local filmmakers and visual storytellers, giving them the skills and platform to tell Kashmiri stories authentically. From short documentaries to archival photography, every project adds to a growing visual record of our heritage.
Through the lens, we preserve not just images but memory, identity and the living spirit of Kashmir.
Awareness and field action for a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Jammu & Kashmir.
